DECHEN
NAGI
I design information systems that make complexity feel simple. At Amazon, I restructured product taxonomies for millions of shoppers, improved ML model accuracy from 47% to 93%, and drove measurable revenue growth. Now I bring that same precision to designing AI-first product experiences that scale.

What I do
My work lives at the intersection of data, research, and design. At Amazon I collaborated with ML engineers to fix taxonomy upstream because structure determines whether a product gets used or abandoned. At Emily Carr I studied how people navigate complex systems, presented research internationally, and led cross-functional teams. I don't just design interfaces. I design the logic beneath them.

About me
While I was working at Amazon, I built Deech.in, a lifestyle brand from 35+ original paintings. Sold out $20,000 in inventory in 8 months from a $1,000 investment. That founder experience gave me something no job could: a systems thinker's instinct sharpened by real stakes and no safety net.
I also speak at conferences on how physical and digital environments shape the way people find information.
